Ward Jandl died unexpectedly of a heart attack on March
18, 1995. He was a TEFL volunteer at hacatepe. Ward had earned a
wide reputation in the field of architectural preservation. He was
honored in the U Senate by Senator Bennett Johnston when he died.
Ward's partner of 10 years, David Given, died of AIDS in August, 1994.
