Arkadaslar Board Meeting

In attendance: Pat Fesci, Marcia Gnuse, Peggy Hanson, Ken Hill, Judie Jerald, Mike Jewell, Sandy Pfunder, Linda Scheffer, Dave Weinman, and Susan Bayley

The meeting began at 6:45 PM.

Action: The board will devote a major portion of the next meeting to a review of Arkadaslar donations, including donations to ongoing and new organizations in 2003.
     Ayes: 8 Nay: 0

Action: We will send a membership letter to non-members listed in the 2003 Directory, encouraging them to renew their memberships.
     Ayes: 8 Nay: 0

Action: The fee for the 2003 local area Bayram Dinner will be $40/person.
     Ayes: 8 Nay: 0

Action: TourSelect, the Turkish travel agency used for the 2002 trip to Turkey, will be used for the 2004 trip.
     Ayes: 8 Nay: 0

The next meeting will be at 6:00 pm on Monday, November 17, 2003 at Attila’s restaurant in Arlington, VA.

The meeting ended at 8:30 PM.
