Dick Janzig's Photo Album (1967-69)
Building METU -- Getting ready for the 1967-68 School Year

METU, The Cafeteria.  The food was cheap, but the student/worker's lokanta that I ate at almost every night was much better.

METU, The "White House" building. The US ambassador's visit when the building is completed will set off events that ultimately close the university.

METU, Workman adding a non-skid surface to the smooth cement walkway.

METU, Workmen making sidewalks near the library.  When it rained, the cobblestone squares became minature lakes and everyone tried to walk on the cement outlines.  Students would alway politely step off to let a teacher pass.
