Turkish Language Classes
A small group of us who have been taking Turkish language classes together for quite some time will reconvene early in 2008 and would welcome anybody who may be interested in joining us.  Our basic approach is conversational, with some reading and some translation.

We meet on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm at the headquarters building of the American Turkish Association - D.C., located at 1526 - 18th Street N.W. (near Q Street, DuPont Circle Metro stop).   The cost for the spring semester is likely to be $275 if you are an ATA-DC member (otherwise $300).  Our winter and spring "semesters" are normally ten weeks each, with the same tuition cost.
