Planning for the June 21-23 Conference
Publicity:
Action: Sandy is working with group coordinators and will tell them to mail updated information, including the registration fee, out as soon as possible.
Action: Susan and Pat will see that the registration material will be in the mail by May.
Action: John Wintrol will accept registration returns on behalf of Linda who will be on the Turkey trip when registrations begin to be mailed in. John and Linda will coordinate registration forms and funds after Linda’s return.

Budget and registration fee
Action: The Board approved a registration of $75/person. If there is a shortfall, Arkadaslar will cover the costs.

Friday afternoon welcome, registration
Action: Jill will oversee the registration and welcome reception on Friday.

Saturday program
Action: Susan will see that details about the program will be ironed out as we near the conference.
Action: Pat will call our contact at the embassy to see if we can extend our time at the embassy If things work out, she and Susan will visit the embassy to finalize these arrangements.
Action: Susan will find someone to handle refreshments for the Saturday afternoon program.

Housing accommodations
Action: Mary Helen Madden is handling reservations at the Omni,. There is a May 20 deadline for Arkadaslar to get in touch with Mary Helen.
Action: Mary Helen will pass the names of those Arkadaslar interested in staying in local homes on to Sandy who will take of local arrangements.

Contributions to Buralarda
Action: Susan will find a few people to write articles and take photos about the conference.

Action: Sandy will see if she can add a line to the bottom of our listserve that is a link to the website.
Action: Mike will see that photos from the May tour to Turkey are sent to Ellie and that people on the tour contribute articles to Marcia.

The next meeting will be held in early July, after the July 4 holiday. Date to be determined. We will meet at The Anatolian Café.
