rhododendron (which the villagers call "komar") were in bloom on the
yayla.

Wildflowers in bloom in the open fields down in the village.

Yellow mountain laurel (called "zifin"by the villagers)
were in full bloom on the yayla. This plant is said to be poisonous
if consumed by grazing animals.
